Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Clarity is kind of our thing, so we wrote this policy to actually be readable. It explains what information Mallard Agency, LLC ("Mallard," "we," or "us") collects when you visit mallardagency.com or reach out to us, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. If you use our site, you are agreeing to what is described here.
The short version
We only collect what you hand us through forms, email, scheduling, or calls, along with the standard technical data your browser shares automatically. We use it to reply to you, deliver what you asked for, run our site, and improve our marketing. We do not sell your personal information. We do use cookies and marketing tools like Google Analytics and advertising pixels. And you are always in control, so you can opt out of our emails and texts anytime, or ask us to access or delete your information.
What information we collect
The short answer is what you give us, plus basic technical data. When you fill out a contact or interest form, schedule a meeting, subscribe to something, or email or call us, we collect what you choose to share. That usually means your name, email address, phone number, company, and details about your business, goals, and project. When you simply browse the site, we also automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the links you click, and how you found us. Much of this comes through cookies, which are covered further below.
How we use it
In short, we use it to talk with you, do the work, run the site, and market responsibly. That means responding to your inquiries and scheduling meetings, providing and improving our services, sending resources and updates you asked for, understanding how people use our site, measuring and sharpening our marketing and advertising, keeping the site secure, and meeting our legal obligations.
Cookies and tracking
Yes, we use them, and you can control them. Our site is built and hosted on Webflow, and we use Google Tag Manager to run tags on the site. Through those tags we may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, along with advertising and retargeting technologies from platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, so we can measure performance and show relevant ads. These providers set their own cookies and handle data under their own privacy policies. You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with trusted partners, only when there is a real reason, and we never sell it. The partners who receive it are service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email and marketing platforms, analytics and advertising providers, scheduling tools, and our customer relationship system, and they may use it only to perform their work for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of Mallard, our clients, or others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
Marketing messages and how to opt out
You are always in control of what we send. If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails and, where you have provided your number and agreed, occasional text messages. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about a project or service you have engaged us for.
How long we keep it
We hold onto your information only as long as we need it, which means for as long as necessary to serve you, maintain our relationship, and satisfy our legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Once it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or store it securely.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of marketing. To make a request, contact us using the details at the bottom of this policy, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Information from minors
Our site is built for businesses and adults. It is intended for people over the age of 18 and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret these signals, our site does not currently respond to them differently. We will update this section if that changes.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Please check back now and then so you stay informed.
